About The Editor ~ Colleen Breuning

I am a "Maryland Girl!" I was born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland, which is in the beautiful western part of the state and a source of inspiration to me. I am part of the huge, wonderful Keller family, and most of my relatives still reside there today. I obtained my B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Florida Atlantic University. I currently reside in South Florida with my husband, two children, kitten Tommy and "grandkitty" Jordan.

Photography, writing poetry and music are my passions. I also enjoy running, biking, cooking, travel, hockey (Go Panthers!), and savoring red wine. I am absolutely obsessed with sunsets, and have been known to jump out of the car to snap pictures of them or plan our vacation dinners around them. My favorite travel spots are Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Amelia Island, Virginia and Maryland. I hope you enjoy my website, and I would love to hear from you!

Acknowledgments:

I would like to thank my son, Vince Breuning, a Florida State student and my "webmaster," for helping me to refine
this website. He helped to make this site more functional and professional. Although I recently completed two classes on web
design, I couldn't have done it without him. All my love and thanks to my husband Dan and daughter Katie for their patience and
understanding through this process. I spent many long evenings in front of the computer immersed in html code.

Many thanks to my on-line poetry group friends Kathy, Genny, Darlene, and Cindy for their honest and constructive critiques of my
poetry. A big thank you goes out to Joanne Olivieri for first giving me the opportunity to publish my poetry and photography on her
website, Ya'Sou. Last, but not least, I would not be who I am today if not for my Mom, and my Dad (who left this world in 2003 but
continues to inspire me today). I love you all!
